Resilience Hubs Initiative Strategy Call

Learn about the NorCal Resilience Network's Resilient Hubs Initiative, creating a network of homes, schools and neighborhood centers that are “ready for anything” - better prepared for natural disasters, climate change and other stresses in our community.

During the call, we will introduce the model and share our pilot project successes, and then ask for feedback about the project, from the site criteria to the marketing and funding.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:  Install a rainwater catchment system you’ve always wanted, to prepare for a drought? Check. Prepare your home for “The Big Earthquake”? Check. Meet the neighbors you’ve always wanted to talk with? Check.  “Resilient Hubs” is an exciting new model that uses a community-based approach to helps transform our homes and neighborhoods into vibrant, regenerative places.

Why Resilient Hubs? There are surprisingly few environmental groups that integrate climate mitigation with climate adaptation through community-based responses that adapt to our changing climate while breaking down the social barriers that often tear us apart. We focus on building both community and resiliency by bring people together to work on small-scale, people-powered projects, from gardens to greywater systems.
